Kardon is a graduate of Harvard College and New York University
School of Law. He has spent most of his professional career in
venture capital transactions, representing investors, entrepreneurs
and investment banker/underwriters in organization, angel and
venture capital private financings, initial public offerings,
reorganizations and mergers and acquisitions.
In addition he has substantial experience with organization and
counseling of private investment companies, including offshore
companies and broker dealers, handling their private placements,
securities law compliance and private investment.
He has published translations of both a French novel and cookbook of
recipes from the third world. He is a member of the Bar of the City
of New York and the Securities Sub-Committee of the American Bar
Association. James lives in Scarsdale with his wife, Nancy, a yoga
teacher, and four teenage sons, and enjoys playing golf, piano and
chasing around after his sons' hockey, golf, football and baseball
